حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد الزاهد الأصبهاني، حدثنا أحمد بن مَهْدي بن رُسْتُم الأصبهاني، حدثنا عمرو بن عاصم الكِلَابي، حدثنا همَّام، عن قَتَادة، عن مُوَرِّق، عن أبي الأحوَص، عن عبد الله، عن النبي ﷺ قال: "صلاةُ المرأة في بيتها أفضلُ من صلاتها في حُجْرتِها، وصلاتُها في مَخدَعِها أفضلُ من صلاتها في بيتها" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه، وقد احتجَّا جميعًا بالمورِّق بن مُشَمرِج العِجْلي.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman's prayer in her (inner) room is better than her prayer in her (outer) chamber, and her prayer in her closet (the most secluded part) is better than her prayer in her room."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but they did not record it, while they both used Muwarriq bin Mushamrij al-Ijli as evidence.

(1) إسناده حسن من أجل عمرو بن عاصم: وهو أبو عثمان البصري. همام: هو ابن يحيى العَوْذي، ومورِّق: هو العِجْلي، وأبو الأحوص: هو عوف بن مالك.
Grading: (1) The chain is "hasan" on account of Amr bin Asim.
Technical note: Hammam refers to Ibn Yahya, Muwarriq refers to al-Ijli, and Abu al-Ahwas refers to Awf bin Malik.
وأخرجه أبو داود (570) عن محمد بن المثنى، عن عمرو بن عاصم، بهذا الإسناد.
