الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ تَعْدِلُ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ صَلَاةً فَإِذَا صَلَّاهَا فِي الْفَلَاةِ فَأَتَمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا بَلَغَتْ خَمْسِينَ صَلَاةً
Prayer in congregation equals twenty-five prayers, and if one prays it in the open desert completing its bowing and prostration it reaches fifty prayers

أخبرنا أبو نَصْر أحمد بن سهل الفقيه ببُخارَى، حدثنا أبو عِصْمةَ سهل بن المتوكِّل البخاري، حدثنا عبد الله بن مَسلَمة القَعنَبي، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن محمد بن طَحْلاءَ، عن مُحصِن بن علي، عن عوف بن الحارث، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "مَن توضَّأ فأحسَنَ وُضوءَه، ثم راح فوَجَدَ الناسَ قد صَلَّوْا، أعطاه الله ﷿ مثلَ أجْرِ من صلَّاها وحَضَرَها لا يَنقُصُ ذلك من أجورِهم شيئًا" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) well, then goes (to the mosque) and finds that the people have already prayed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will give him a reward like that of those who prayed it and attended it, and nothing will be reduced from their reward."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

وأخرجه أبو داود (564) عن عبد الله بن مسلمة القعنبي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (564) narrated it from Abd Allah bin Maslamah al-Qa'nabi, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 14/ (8947)، والنسائي (930) من طريقين عن عبد العزيز بن محمد الدَّراوَرْدي، به.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (14/8947) and al-Nasa'i (930) narrated it by two routes from Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad al-Darawardi.
