It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the two young men who came to Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him) with their dreams had lied. When he (peace be upon him) interpreted their dreams, they said: We were only joking. At that Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him) said: "The matter about which you inquire has been decreed." [Surah Yusuf: 41]
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
