وحدَّثَناه علي بن حَمْشاذ العَدْل، حدثنا بِشر بن موسى، حدثنا الحُميدي، حدثنا سفيان، عن محمد وعبد الله ابني أبي بكر بن محمد بن حَزْم، عن أبي بكر بن حَزْم: أنَّ عبد الله بن زيد بن عبد ربِّه جاء إلى رسول الله ﷺ، فقال: يا رسولَ الله، إنَّ حائطي هذا صدقةٌ، وهو الله ولرسوله، فجاء أبواه فقالا: يا رسولَ الله كان قِوامَ عَيشِنا، فردَّه رسولُ الله ﷺ عليهما، ثم ماتا فوَرِثَه ابنُهما بعدَهما (1). و
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين كذلك. وأصحُّ ما رُويَ في طرق هذا الحديث:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr bin Hazm that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd bin Abd Rabbih (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! This garden of mine is charity, and it is dedicated to Allah and His Messenger. Then his parents came and said: O Messenger of Allah! This was the whole support of our livelihood. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned the garden to the two of them. Then, when they both passed away, their son became their heir.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim).
