أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي، حدثنا محمد بن أبي بكر المقدَّمي، حدثنا فُضَيل بن سليمان، حدثنا موسى بن عُقْبة، حدثني إسحاق بن يحيى، عن عُبادة بن الصامت قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "أنا سيِّدُ الناس يومَ القيامة ولا فَخْر، ما من أحدٍ إلَّا وهو تحت لِوائي يومَ القيامة ينتظرُ الفَرَج، وإنَّ معي لواءَ الحمد، أنا أَمشي ويمشي الناسُ معي حتى آتيَ بابَ الجنة فأَستفتحَ فيقال: مَن هذا؟ فأقول: محمَّدٌ، فيقال: مرحبًا بمحمَّدٍ، فإذا رأيتُ ربِّي خَرَرتُ له ساجدًا أنظُرُ إليه" (1).
هذا حديث كبير في الصفات والرُّؤية، صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه!

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will be the leader of all people on the Day of Resurrection, and this is no boast (rather, it is a statement of fact). On the Day of Resurrection there will be no one who is not under my banner, hoping for relief from distress. With me will be the Banner of Praise (Liwa' al-Hamd). I will walk and the people will walk with me until I come to the gate of Paradise and ask for it to be opened. It will be asked: 'Who is this?' I will say: 'Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).' It will be said: 'Welcome to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).' Then when I see my Lord, I will fall down in prostration before Him and behold Him."
This is a great hadith concerning the Attributes (of Allah) and the vision of Allah; it is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة إسحاق بن يحيى - وهو ابن الوليد بن عبادة بن الصامت - ثم إنه لم يدرك جدَّ أبيه عبادة، فهو منقطع، كما أنَّ فضيل بن سليمان ليس بذاك القوي.
Grading: Its chain is da'if.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason is that Ishaq bin Yahya (bin al-Walid bin Ubadah bin al-Samit) is majhul (unknown); moreover, he did not meet his great-grandfather Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him), so this chain is "munqati'" (broken). Also, Fudayl bin Sulayman is not a very strong narrator.
وأخرجه أبو منصور الديلمي في "مسند الفردوس" كما في "الغرائب الملتقطة" (936) من طريق الحاكم بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu Mansur al-Daylami narrated it in "Musnad al-Firdaws" (al-Ghara'ib al-Multaqatah: 936) by way of Imam al-Hakim himself, with this chain.
وعزاه الهيثمي في "المجمع" 10/ 376 للطبراني، وهو عنده بنحوه، وقال: وإسحاق بن يحيى لم يدرك عبادة.
Reference / Source: Al-Haythami attributed it in "Majma' al-Zawa'id" (10/376) to Imam al-Tabarani, with whom it is narrated similarly.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Haythami also stated explicitly that Ishaq bin Yahya did not meet Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
