Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 816

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever hears the call to prayer while he is healthy and has no excuse, and still does not come (to the congregation), Allah will not accept from him that prayer (which he prays alone)." It was asked: "What is an excuse?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Illness and fear."

Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) This chain is da'if because of the weakness of Abu Janab and the poor memory of Sulayman bin Qarm; moreover, he dropped the name "Mughra' al-Abdi" from the chain.
