مَنْ تَشَاعَبَتْ بِهِ الْهُمُومُ لَمْ يُبَالِ اللَّهُ فِي أَيِّ أَوْدِيَةِ الدُّنْيَا هَلَكَ

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي الدُّنيا القُرشي، حدثني سُوَيد بن سعيد، حدثني بقيَّة بن الوليد، عن بَحِير بن سعد (2)، عن خالد بن مَعْدان، عن أبي عُبيدة بن الجَرَّاح، أنَّ رسولَ الله ﷺ قال: "إنَّ قلبَ ابن آدمَ مثلُ العُصفورِ يتقلَّبُ في اليوم سبعَ مرَّات" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah bin al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The heart of the son of Adam is like a sparrow; it turns over seven times in a day."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
