أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله الزاهد، حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي الدنيا القرشي، حدثنا إسحاق بن كعب، حدثنا عبَّاد بن العوَّام، عن محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سَلَمة، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال النبيُّ ﷺ: "ما يزالُ البلاءُ بالمؤمنِ والمؤمنةِ في جسدِه ومالِه حتى يَلقَى الله تعالى وما عليه خطيئةٌ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Affliction continues to befall the believing man and the believing woman, in their body and in their wealth, until they meet Allah Almighty with no sin upon them."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن إسحاق بن كعب: هو مولى بني هاشم أبو يعقوب البغدادي، قال أبو حاتم: صدوق، وكتب عنه كما في "الجرح والتعديل" 2/ 232.
Grading: Its chain is hasan.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): About Ishaq bin Ka'b (the client of Banu Hashim, Abu Ya'qub al-Baghdadi), Abu Hatim said: he is saduq (truthful), and he wrote (hadith) from him, as in "al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil" (2/ 232).
وهو في كتاب "المرض والكفارات" لابن أبي الدنيا برقم (40).
