حدثنا أبو بكر أحمد بن سلمان الفقيه ببغداد، حدثنا عبد الملك بن محمد الرَّقاشي، حدثنا أبو رَبِيعة فَهْد بن عوف، حدثنا عمر بن الفضل الأزدي، عن رَقَبة بن مَسْقَلة، عن علي بن الأقمَر، عن أبي جُحَيفة قال: أكلتُ لحمًا كثيرًا وثَريدًا، ثم جئتُ فقعدتُ حيالَ النبي ﷺ، فجعلتُ أتجشَّأُ، فقال: "أَقصِرْ من جُشَائِكَ، فَإِنَّ أَكثرَ الناس شِبَعًا في الدنيا أكثرُهم جوعًا في الآخرة (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I ate a lot of meat and tharid, then came and sat in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I began to belch. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Reduce your belching, for those people who eat their fill the most in this world will be hungry for the longest time in the Hereafter."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده تالف من أجل فهد بن عوف، فهو متروك متهم. وسلف الحديث عند المصنف برقم (7317) من طريق فهد بن عوف أيضًا، لكن عن فضل بن أبي الفضل الأزدي عن عمر بن موسى عن علي بن الأقمر.
Grading: Its chain is ruined (talif) because it contains Fahd bin 'Awf, who is a matruk narrator accused (of lying).
Reference / Source: This hadith has already passed with the author (al-Hakim) at no. (7317), also through Fahd bin 'Awf, but there the chain was: from Fadl bin Abi al-Fadl al-Azdi, from 'Umar bin Musa, from 'Ali bin al-Aqmar.
وأخرجه تمام في "الفوائد" (643) عن خيثمة بن سليمان، عن أبي قلابة عبد الملك بن محمد، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Tammam recorded it in "al-Fawa'id" (643) from Khaythamah bin Sulayman, from Abu Qilabah 'Abd al-Malik bin Muhammad, with this same chain.
