It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is afraid sets off in the first part of the night, and whoever sets off reaches the destination. Beware! The merchandise of Allah is very costly. Remember! The merchandise of Allah is very precious, and it is Paradise. The quaking (of the Hour) has come, followed by another that will cause trembling; death has arrived with all its hardships."

Note / Clarification: In manuscripts (Z), (K) and (B) this has been distorted into "'an Ubayy", and in manuscript (M) it is written "'an bin Ubayy".

Grading: In sha' Allah, this chain is "hasan" in light of the narrations before it, because of 'Abd Allah bin Muhammad bin 'Aqil (who is hasan in hadith).
Reference / Source: Ahmad (35/21241), Abu Nu'aym in "al-Hilyah" (8/377) and al-Bayhaqi in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (10093) narrated it through Waki' from Sufyan al-Thawri, with this same chain,
Details of the narration: Imam Ahmad restricted his narration to the mention of "al-rajifah" and "al-radifah".
Grading: And Abu Nu'aym said: It is gharib; Waki' is alone in narrating it with this wording from al-Thawri.
