It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not one of us who swears by 'the trust' (al-amanah), and he too is not one of us who incites a man's wife or his slave (against her husband or his master)."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. Note / Clarification: Abdullah bin Dawud means al-Khuraybi. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (38/ 22980) and Ibn Hibban (4763) narrated it by the route of Waki', and Abu Dawud (3253) by the route of Zuhayr bin Mu'awiyah; both of them transmit it with this same chain of al-Walid bin Tha'labah. Details of the narration: Abu Dawud's narration mentions, in abridged form, only "the prohibition of swearing by al-amanah (trust)". Note / Clarification: In the hadith the word "khabbaba" means to deceive and to cause corruption. General principle: Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah says in "Majmu' al-Fatawa" (23/ 363) that a person's striving to separate a woman from her husband is among the grave sins; it is the work of sorcerers and one of the greatest deeds of the devils. Important point: This refers to the hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim (2813) from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Iblis places his throne upon the water and sends out his troops; the closest of them to him in rank is the one who causes the greatest trouble. And when one devil comes and says, "I did not leave him until I had separated him from his wife", Iblis draws him close and says: "What an excellent one you are!"
