Grading: This hadith is sahih and this chain of it is "hasan". Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator 'Abd Allah bin 'Uthman bin Khuthaym is "saduq" (truthful) and there is no harm in him, while a large group narrated from 'Ali bin Salih al-Makki and Imam Ibn Hibban included him in his book "al-Thiqat". Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Corroboration (support) for both these narrators is present in the previous hadith. Reference / Source: Imam al-Tirmidhi (2833) narrated it with the chain Mu'ammar bin Sulayman al-Raqqi, from 'Ali bin Salih. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Imam al-Tirmidhi said (after mentioning this route) that according to this chain the narration is "gharib".
