Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7905

Qays bin Abi Hazim narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw my father sitting in the sun and said: "Move into the shade, for it is blessed."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, even though Shu'bah narrated it as mursal, for Minjab bin al-Harith and Ali bin Mushir are both trustworthy (thiqah) narrators.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Sahih (without the addition).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): As in the previous discussion, the words "fa-innahu mubarak" in this one are also "shadh". Ibrahim bin Marzuq is not a precise (mutqin) narrator.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: When Yunus bin Habib narrated it from Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi in his "Musnad" (1394), he did not mention this addition. Likewise, Imam Shu'bah's student Muhammad bin Ja'far (Ghundar) also narrated it in Musnad Ahmad (15517) and did not mention this addition.
Important point: Although this hadith apparently seems to be "mursal", it is established as "mawsul" (connected) in the previous narration and the other routes mentioned there.
