حدثني علي بن حَمْشاذ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبيد بن شَريك البزَّار، حَدَّثَنَا أبو الجُمَاهر بن عثمان التَّنُوخي، حَدَّثَنَا عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن مصعب بن ثابت، عن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة، عن أنس، أنَّ رسولَ الله ﷺ قال: "خيرُ المجالس أوسَعُها" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best gatherings are those that are the most spacious and roomy."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف من أجل مصعب بن ثابت: وهو الزُّبيري. عبد العزيز بن محمد: هو الدَّراوَردي.
Grading: Its chain is weak because of Mus'ab bin Thabit al-Zubayri.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): 'Abd al-'Aziz bin Muhammad in the chain refers to "al-Darawardi".
وأخرجه الحارث بن أبي أسامة في "مسنده" كما في "المطالب العالية" (2808)، والبزار في "مسنده" (6447)، وأبو القاسم البغوي في "حديث مصعب الزبيري" (104)، وابن حبان في "المجروحين" 3/ 29، والطبراني في "الأوسط" (836)، والبيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (7890)، والخطيب في "أخلاق الراوي" (1191) من طرق عن عبد العزيز الدراوردي، بهذا الإسناد.
