أخبرنا أحمد بن كامل بن خلف القاضي، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن سعد العَوْفي، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْح بن عُبادة، حَدَّثَنَا محمدُ بن عبد العزيز بن عمر بن عبد الرحمن بن عَوف وعبدُ الرحمن بن حُميد (2) بن عبد الرحمن بن عَوف، عن عامر بن سعد، عن أبيه، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "المؤمنُ مُكفَّرٌ" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

Amir bin Sa'd narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer's sins are wiped away (through hardships and afflictions)."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) قوله: "بن حميد" لم يرد في (ز) و (ب)، وأثبتناه من (م).
Note / Clarification: The words "bin Humayd" were not present in manuscripts (Z) and (B); they have been included in the text on the basis of manuscript (M).
(3) إسناده ضعيف جدًّا من أجل محمد بن عبد العزيز بن عمر. ووقع في هذا الطريق خطأ سبق التنبيه عليه برقم (193).
Grading: Its chain is "da'if jiddan" (very weak).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason for this is the narrator "Muhammad bin Abd al-Aziz bin Umar". An error occurred in this route, which has already been pointed out at no. 193.
