مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ خَلَقَ لَهُ مَا يَغْلِبُهُ .

أخبرَناه الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب، حَدَّثَنَا علي بن عبد العزيز، حَدَّثَنَا حجَّاج بن مِنْهال، حَدَّثَنَا حمَّاد بن سَلَمة، عن علي بن زيد، عن يوسف بن مِهْران، عن ابن عباس: أنَّ جبريلَ ﵇ قال للنبيِّ ﷺ: لو رأيتَني وأنا آخُذُ من حالِ البحرِ فأدُسُّه في فِي فِرعونَ (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Jibril (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): If only you had seen me as I was taking the black mud of the sea and stuffing it into Pharaoh's mouth.

(2) إسناده ضعيف من أجل علي بن زيد: وهو ابن جُدعان.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" on account of Ali bin Zayd (Ibn Jud'an).
وأخرجه الترمذي (3107) عن عبد بن حميد، عن الحجاج بن منهال، بهذا الإسناد. وقال: حديث حسن.
Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi narrated it at (3107) through the chain of Abd bin Humayd from Hajjaj bin Minhal, in the same way.
Grading: Al-Tirmidhi called it a "hasan hadith".
وأخرجه أحمد (4/ 2203) عن يونس بن محمد المؤدب، و (5/ 2820) عن سليمان بن حرب، كلاهما عن حماد بن سلمة، به.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it at (4/ 2203) through Yunus bin Muhammad al-Mu'addib and at (5/ 2820) through Sulayman bin Harb; both of them narrate it from Hammad bin Salamah.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" on account of Ali bin Zayd (Ibn Jud'an).
