أخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حَدَّثَنَا أبو زُرْعة الدمشقي، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن خالد الوَهْبي، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثني عبد الواحد بن حمزة بن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن عبَّاد بن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن عائشة قالت: سمعتُ رسول الله ﷺ يقول في بعض صلاتِه: "اللهمَّ حاسِبْني حِسابًا يسيرًا"، فلما انصرف قلتُ: يا رسولَ الله، ما الحسابُ اليسير؟ قال: "يُنظَرُ في كتابِه ويُتجاوَزُ له عنه، إنه من نُوقِشَ الحسابَ يا عائشةُ هَلَكَ، وكلُّ ما يُصيبُ المؤمنَ كَفَّرَ اللهُ عنه حتَّى الشوكةُ تَشُوكُه" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه بهذه السِّياقة.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating in one of his prayers: 'Allahumma hasibni hisaban yasira' (O Allah, take an easy account of me). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished the prayer, I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is meant by an easy account? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "His record of deeds will be looked at and he will be pardoned for it. O Aishah, whoever is cross-examined in his account is ruined. And whatever hardship afflicts a believer, even a thorn that pricks him, Allah Almighty wipes out his sins in return for it."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it with this wording.

(1) حديث صحيح دون قصة دعائه في الصلاة بـ "اللهم حاسبني حسابًا يسيرًا" فهي زيادة شاذَّة كما سبق بيانه برقم (191).
Grading: This hadith is basically sahih, except for the story of this supplication in the prayer, "Allahumma hasibni hisaban yasiran" (O Allah, make my reckoning easy), because that is a "shadh" (anomalous) addition, as has already been explained under no. (191).
