أخبرني الحسين بن علي الدَّارمي، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن إسحاق، حَدَّثَنَا عمر بن حفص الشَّيْباني، حَدَّثَنَا أبي، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الرحيم بن كَرْدَم بن أَرطَبَانَ ابْنُ عَمِّ ابن عَون، عن زيد بن أسلم، عن عطاء بن يَسَار، عن أبي سعيد الخُدْري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "ما خلقَ اللهُ من شيء إلَّا وقد خَلَقَ له ما يَغلِبُه، وخلق رحمتَه تَغلِبُ غضبَه" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه هكذا. أخبرنا الحاكم أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن حَمْدَوَيهِ الحافظ:

هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه هكذا. أخبرنا الحاكم أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن حَمْدَوَيهِ الحافظ:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever thing Allah Almighty has created, He has also created something that overpowers it; and He created His mercy, which overpowers His wrath."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it in this way.

(2) إسناده ضعيف، عبد الرحيم بن كردم روى عنه جمع، وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: كان يخطئ، وقال أبو أحمد الحاكم: لا يتابع على حديثه، وقال أبو حاتم: مجهول! وقد خالفه معمر فرواه في "جامعه" (21017)، وعنه عبد الرزاق في "تفسيره" 1/ 354 - 355 عن زيد بن أسلم مرسلًا مطولًا، وتشكّك في رفعه.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): A group did narrate from the narrator Abd al-Rahim bin Kardam, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat", but at the same time said: "He used to make mistakes". According to Abu Ahmad al-Hakim, his hadith is not corroborated, while Abu Hatim declared him "majhul" (unknown).
Details of the narration: Ma'mar bin Rashid contradicted him, narrating it in his "Jami'" (21017), and from him Abd al-Razzaq in his "Tafsir" (1/ 354-355), from Zayd bin Aslam, as "mursal and at length", and he expressed doubt about its being marfu'.
وأخرجه أبو الشيخ كما في "الغرائب الملتقطة" لابن حجر (2393) عن عبد الله بن محمد، عن عمر بن حفص الشيباني، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu al-Shaykh also narrated it, as mentioned in Ibn Hajar's "al-Ghara'ib al-Multaqatah" (2393), via the chain of Abd Allah bin Muhammad from Umar bin Hafs al-Shaybani, with this same chain.
وأخرجه البزار (3255 - كشف الأستار) من طريق يحيى بن عمر، عن أبي مرحوم عبد الرحيم بن كردم، به. وقال: لا نعلم رواه إلّا أبو مرحوم، وهو بصري من أقارب ابن عون. وقال الهيثمي في "مجمع الزوائد" 10/ 23: وفيه من لم أعرفه؛ يشير إلى يحيى بن عمر.
Reference / Source: Al-Bazzar narrated it (Kashf al-Astar: 3255) via Yahya bin Umar, from Abu Marhum Abd al-Rahim bin Kardam.
Important point: Al-Bazzar says: "To our knowledge no one narrated it except Abu Marhum, who is a Basran and one of the relatives of Ibn Awn".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Haythami said in "Majma' al-Zawa'id" (10/ 23): "In it is a narrator whom I do not know", referring to Yahya bin Umar.
قلنا: وصحَّ في معناه حديث أبي هريرة عند البخاري (3194) ومسلم (2751)، مرفوعًا: "لمّا قضى الله الخلقَ كتب في كتابه، فهو عنده فوق العرش: إنّ رحمتي غَلَبَت غضبي".
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: We say: in this same meaning, the marfu' hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is established in Sahih al-Bukhari (3194) and Sahih Muslim (2751): "When Allah created the creation, He wrote in His Book, which is with Him above the Throne: Indeed My mercy has prevailed over My wrath".
