Zayd bin al-Hasan bin Ali narrates from his father, Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us on the two Eids to wear the finest clothing available to us, to apply the best perfume available to us, and to sacrifice the fattest animal available to us, a cow on behalf of seven people and a camel on behalf of ten people (to be sacrificed), and to pronounce the takbir aloud while tranquillity and dignity remain upon us.
Had it not been for the unknown condition of Ishaq bin Buzurj, I would have ruled this hadith to be sahih (authentic).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In manuscript (S) the word has been corrupted into "Rawh", and in manuscript (M) into "bi-Rawh".
Grading: Its chain is da'if (weak). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Salih Abd Allah bin Salih al-Misri (the scribe of al-Layth) is "sayyi' al-hifz" (of poor memory). Only two people narrated from Ishaq bin Buzurj, and no reliable imam declared him trustworthy; al-Azdi declared him weak and the author called him majhul (unknown). Important point: According to all sources he narrates directly from al-Hasan bin 'Ali, the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); so the addition of "Zayd bin al-Hasan" in al-Hakim's narration is, in our view, merely an error (wahm). Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari narrated it in "al-Tarikh al-Kabir" (1/382), Ibn Abi al-Dunya in "al-Nafaqah 'ala al-'Iyal" (371), al-Tahawi in "Sharh al-Mushkil" (5428), al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (2756) and al-Bayhaqi in "al-Shu'ab" (3442), via Abu Salih Abd Allah bin Salih, from al-Layth bin Sa'd, from Ishaq bin Buzurj, from al-Hasan bin 'Ali; and Zayd bin al-Hasan is not mentioned in them.
