Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7745

(1) إسناده فيه لين، ابن أبي رافع -واسمه المعتمر كما جاء مسمًّى عند من أخرج الحديث، ويقال في اسمه أيضًا: المغيرة - روى عنه عمارة بن غزية وعمرو بن أبي عمرو، إلّا أنَّ حديث عمرو عنه فيه اضطراب كما بيّنه البخاري في ترجمة حنين بن أبي المغيرة من "تاريخه الكبير" 3/ 106، ولذلك لم يذكر في ترجمة المعتمر بن أبي رافع من "تاريخه" 8/ 50 راويًا عنه غير عمارة، وأما ذكر جدِّه في رواية المصنف وغيره، فهو وهمٌ من بعض الرواة، فالحديث من مسند أبي رافع مولى النبي ﷺ، وهو والد المعتمر لحًّا، وجاء على الصواب بدون ذكره فيما علَّقه البخاري في ترجمة المعتمر، وفي رواية الطبراني في "الأوسط".
Grading: Its chain has some weakness (layyin) in it.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): From Ibn Abi Rafi' (whose name is al-Mu'tamir, and he is also called al-Mughirah) narrated 'Umarah bin Ghaziyyah and 'Amr bin Abi 'Amr, but 'Amr's narration from him contains inconsistency (idtirab), as al-Bukhari made clear in "al-Tarikh al-Kabir" (3/106).
Important point: The mention of the grandfather in the chain of the author (al-Hakim) is an error (wahm) of some narrators. The correct position is that this hadith is from Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him), the mawla of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who is al-Mu'tamir's own father. Al-Bukhari and al-Tabarani (in al-Awsat) reported it correctly without mentioning the grandfather.
وأخرجه الروياني في "مسنده" (714)، والطبراني في (الكبير) (957)، وفي "الأوسط" (244) من طرق عن سعيد بن أبي مريم، بهذا الإسناد. وليس في رواية "الأوسط" ذكر الجدّ كما ذكرنا.
Reference / Source: Al-Ruyani narrated it in "al-Musnad" (714), and al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (957) and "al-Awsat" (244), via Sa'id bin Abi Maryam. The narration in "al-Awsat" does not mention the grandfather.
وسلف عند المصنف برقم (3520) مطولًا من طريق آخر عن أبي رافع.
