Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7709

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: When the ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah begin, do not cut your hair or your nails at all until you have slaughtered your sacrificial animal.
This is an authentic supporting narration (shahid) for the hadith of Imam Malik, even though it is mawquf (a Companion's statement).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: Manuscript (Z) has the word "tadhbahna".

Grading: This chain is "jayyid" on account of al-Harith bin Abd al-Rahman (al-Qurashi al-Amiri).
Reference / Source: It was recorded by Ibn Abi Shaybah (14993, Awwamah edition) from Waki' bin al-Jarrah, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, with this chain, but it does not contain the words "hatta tadhbaha udhiyataka" (until you slaughter your sacrifice).
Note / Clarification: This narration is in the chapter on the one who disliked taking from his hair when intending Hajj.
Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tabarani in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (23/ 557) via Junadah bin Salm, from Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah, from Abu Salamah, as marfu'.
Grading: There is weakness in Junadah bin Salm, but his narration is taken into consideration in corroborating chains and supporting reports.
