Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7539

Imam al-Hakim says that an error (wahm) has occurred in this chain: the narrator is not Shurahbil bin Muslim; rather, he is Shurahbil bin Sa'd, a shaykh from the people of Madinah.

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (3) It is "sahih li-ghayrihi" (authentic due to other reports), and this chain is da'if (weak) like the previous one.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The name "Shurahbil bin Muslim" that occurs here is an error (wahm), as the author (al-Hakim) said.
