Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7527

حدّثنا محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدّثنا الفضل بن محمد الشَّعْراني، حدّثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة، حدّثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة: أنَّ النبيّ ﷺ كان يذبح الشاةَ، فيَتَتبَّعُ بها صدائق خديجة بنتِ خُوَيلِد (4).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه!

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a sheep, he would seek out the friends of Sayyidah Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) and send (meat as a gift) to them.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(4) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل إبراهيم بن حمزة - وهو ابن محمد الزبيري - وعبد العزيز بن محمد - وهو الدراوردي - وقد توبعا.
Grading: (4) This hadith is sahih, and this chain is hasan on account of Ibrahim bin Hamzah (who is Ibn Muhammad al-Zubayri) and Abd al-'Aziz bin Muhammad (who is al-Darawardi), and both of them have been corroborated.
وأخرجه أحمد 40/ (24310) و 43/ (26379)، والبخاري (3816) و (3818) و (6004)، ومسلم (2435) (74) و (75)، والترمذيّ (2017) و (3875)، وابن حبان (7006) من طرق عن هشام بن عروة، بهذا الإسناد. واستدراك المصنّف له ذهول منه.
Reference / Source: Ahmad 40/ (24310) and 43/ (26379), al-Bukhari (3816), (3818) and (6004), Muslim (2435) (74) and (75), al-Tirmidhi (2017) and (3875), and Ibn Hibban (7006) narrated it via various routes from Hisham bin 'Urwah, with this chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The author's including it (as an addition, istidrak) was an oversight on his part.
