It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever something (such as a gift) was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "Take it to so-and-so, for she was a friend of Khadijah. Take it to so-and-so, for she loved Khadijah."
This hadith is sahih al-isnad (its chain is authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (3) This chain is da'if (weak), Technical note / Defect ('illah): Mubarak bin Fadalah is a mudallis and he narrated with 'an'anah (using the word "from"), and we did not find an explicit statement of his hearing from Thabit (who is al-Bunani). Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (7007) narrated it via Hisham bin 'Ammar, from Asad bin Musa, with this chain. Note / Clarification: The narration that comes after it makes it unnecessary.
