(1). It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two whose prayer does not rise above their heads (that is, it does not attain acceptance): a slave who has run away from his masters until he returns, and a woman who has disobeyed her husband until she returns (to obedience)."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) Its chain is da'if (weak), Technical note / Defect ('illah): Muhammad bin Mandah al-Asbahani and Bakr bin Bakkar both have weakness, but they are corroborated. However, Ibrahim bin Muhajir (who is al-Bajali al-Kufi) is not very strong, he is alone in narrating this chain, and there is disagreement over him as to whether it is mawquf or marfu', as al-Daraqutni explained in "al-'Ilal" (2921), where he preferred its being mawquf. Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "al-Awsat" (3628) and "al-Saghir" (478) from Sahl bin Abi Sahl al-Wasiti, from Muhammad bin Abi Sufyan al-Thaqafi, from Ibrahim bin Abi al-Wazir, from 'Umar bin 'Ubayd al-Tanafisi, with this chain. (416). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Its first part is supported by the hadith of Jarir bin Abd Allah in Sahih Muslim (70) (124) with the wording: "When a slave runs away, his prayer is not accepted." See the hadith of Fadalah bin 'Ubayd that has already passed at number (416). (1436). Details of the narration: As for its second part, it has come in the sahih hadiths restricted to the case of a woman disobeying her husband when he calls her to his bed and she refuses, as in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in al-Bukhari (3237) and Muslim (1436).
