إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُعْلِمْهُ إِيَّاهُ

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الشَّيبانيّ، حدّثنا يحيى بن محمد بن يحيى، حدّثنا مُسدَّد، حدّثنا يحيى بن سعيد، حدّثنا ثَور بن يزيد، عن حبيب بن عُبيد، عن المِقدام بن مَعْدي كَرِبَ، عن النبيّ ﷺ قال: "إذا أحبَّ أحدُكم أخاه، فليُعلِمْه إياه" (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you loves his brother, let him inform him of it."

(2) إسناده صحيح. وأخرجه أبو داود (5124) عن مسدد بن مسرهد، بهذا الإسناد.
Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Abu Dawud (5124) from Musaddad bin Musarhad, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 28/ (17171)، والترمذيّ (2391 م)، والنسائي (9963)، وابن حبان (570) من طريق يحيى بن سعيد القطان، به. وقال الترمذيّ: حسن صحيح غريب.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Imam Ahmad in 28/ (17171), al-Tirmidhi (2391 M), al-Nasa'i (9963) and Ibn Hibban (570) via the route of Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan. Imam al-Tirmidhi said: This hadith is hasan sahih gharib.
