أخبرنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب، حدّثنا أبو يحيى بن أبي مَسَرَّة، حدّثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المُقرئ، حدّثنا حَيْوة، حدَّثني أبو عثمان بن أبي الوليد، أنَّ عِمران بن أبي أنس حدَّثه عن أبي خِراش السُّلمي، أنه سمع رسولَ الله ﷺ يقول: "مَن هَجَرَ أخاه سَنةً، فهو كسَفكِ دِمه" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Khirash al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever cuts off his brother for a year, it is like shedding his blood."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح. حيوة: هو ابن شريح التُّجيبي المصريّ، وأبو عثمان بن أبي الوليد: اسمه الوليد.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Note / Clarification: "Haywah" is Ibn Shurayh al-Tujibi al-Misri, and the name of "Abu 'Uthman bin Abi al-Walid" is al-Walid.
وأخرجه أحمد 29/ (17935) عن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Imam Ahmad (29/ 17935) from 'Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri', with this same chain.
وأخرجه أبو داود (4915) من طريق عبد الله بن وهب، عن حيوة بن شريح، به.
