أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا أحمد بن يونس الضَّبِّي، حدثنا عبد الله بن داود الخُرَيبي، حدثنا الوليد بن جُمَيع، عن ليلى بنت مالك وعبد الرحمن بن خالد (1) الأنصاري، عن أم وَرَقة الأنصارية، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ كان يقول: "انطَلِقوا بنا إلى الشَّهيدة فنَزُورَها"، وأمر أن يُؤذَّنَ لها ويُقامَ وتَؤمَّ أهلَ دارها في الفرائض (2). قد احتجَّ مسلمٌ بالوليد بن جُمَيع، وهذه سُنَّة غريبة لا أعرفُ في الباب حديثًا مسنَدًا غيرَ هذا، وقد رُوِّينا عن أم المؤمنين عائشة ﵂ أنها كانت تؤذِّن وتقيم وتؤمُّ النساء:

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Waraqah al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "Come with us to visit the martyr (Umm Waraqah)," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the adhan and iqamah be called for her, and that she lead the people of her household in the obligatory prayers.
Imam al-Hakim says: Imam Muslim used al-Walid bin Jumay' as evidence, and this is a rare Sunnah; I know of no other connected (musnad) hadith on this topic besides it. It is also narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to give the adhan and iqamah and lead women in prayer.

(1) هكذا وقع عند المصنف وعنه البيهقي في "السنن الكبرى" 1/ 406، والمشهور في اسمه: عبد الرحمن بن خلّاد.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): This is how it appeared with the author (al-Hakim) and, through him, in al-Bayhaqi's "al-Sunan al-Kubra" 1/406, whereas his well-known name is "Abd al-Rahman bin Khallad".
(2) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة الراويين عن أم ورقة ولاضطرابه كما هو مبيَّن في التعليق على "مسند أحمد".
Grading: Its chain is weak because the two narrators from Umm Waraqah (may Allah be pleased with her) are majhul (unknown), and also because of idtirab (inconsistency) in it, as explained in the annotation on "Musnad Ahmad".
فقد أخرجه بنحوه أحمد 45 / (27282) و (27283)، وأبو داود (591) و (592) من طرق عن الوليد بن عبد الله بن جميع، بهذا الإسناد.
