Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and its chain is "hasan" on account of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqamah al-Laythi. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Muhammad bin Amr was corroborated by Ammar bin Abi Ammar, who is a stronger and more trustworthy narrator than him, so the hadith is established as sahih. Reference / Source: Ahmad 15/(9474) and 16/(10629), and Abu Dawud (2350), recorded it by various routes through Hammad bin Salamah from Muhammad bin Amr. Reference / Source: Ahmad 16/(10630) recorded it through Rawh bin Ubadah, by way of Hammad bin Salamah from Ammar bin Abi Ammar. Details of the narration: In it there is the addition: "The mu'adhdhin would give the adhan as soon as dawn broke." (1566). Note / Clarification: This narration will come again later under number (751); see also number (1566).
Note / Clarification: In the manuscript copies a blank space has been left at this place.
