أخبرنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا الحسن بن علي بن زياد، حدثنا إسماعيل بن أبي أُوَيس، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، أخبرني هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ كان يُستَقى له الماء العَذْبُ من بيوت السُّقْيا (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that sweet water used to be brought for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from "Buyut al-Suqya" (a spring or place near Madinah).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن، وقد جوَّد إسناده الحافظ ابن حجر في "فتح الباري" 17/ 299. عبد العزيز بن محمد هو الدراوردي.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Hajar declared its chain jayyid (good) in "Fath al-Bari" 17/ 299. 'Abd al-'Aziz bin Muhammad in the chain is "al-Darawardi".
وأخرجه أحمد 41/ (24693) و (24770)، وأبو داود (3735)، وابن حبان (5332) من طرق عن عبد العزيز بن محمد الدراوردي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it in 41/ (24693) and (24770), Abu Dawud in (3735) and Ibn Hibban in (5332) through various routes from 'Abd al-'Aziz bin Muhammad al-Darawardi, with this same chain.
قال قتيبة بن سعيد - عند أبي داود: هي عينٌ (يعني السقيا) بينها وبين المدينة يومان.
Note / Clarification: Qutaybah bin Sa'id explained (in the narration of Abu Dawud) that "al-Suqya" is a spring located two days' journey from Madinah.
