Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7386

حدَّثَنيهِ محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا محمد بن محمد بن رجاء، حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر الحِزَامي، حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن يحيى بن عُرْوة بن الزُّبير، حدثنا هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة قالت: عائشة قالت: كان أحبَّ الشرابِ إلى رسول الله ﷺ الحُلُو البارد (1).
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the drink most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which was cool and sweet.

(1) إسناده ضعيف جدًّا، عبد الله محمد بن يحيى بن عروة متروك، وبه أعلّه الذهبي في "تلخيصه" فقال عنه: هالك.
Grading: Its chain is "very weak" (da'if jiddan).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Its narrator 'Abd Allah Muhammad bin Yahya bin 'Urwah is "matruk" (abandoned); for this reason al-Dhahabi declared it defective in "Talkhis al-Mustadrak", calling him "halik" (ruined).
وأخرجه أبو الشيخ في كتاب "أخلاق النبي" (724) من طريق هارون بن إسحاق، عن إبراهيم بن المنذر بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu al-Shaykh narrated it in his book "Akhlaq al-Nabi" (724) through the route of Harun bin Ishaq, from Ibrahim bin al-Mundhir, with this same chain.
وأخرجه ابن عدي في "الكامل" 4/ 184 من طريق أحمد بن عبد المؤمن، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن يحيى به.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Adi narrated it in "al-Kamil fi Du'afa' al-Rijal" 4/ 184 through the route of Ahmad bin 'Abd al-Mu'min, from 'Abd Allah bin Muhammad bin Yahya.
