It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty is with the judge as long as he does not act unjustly; when he acts unjustly, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, disowns him."
Abu al-Awwam in this (chain) is Imran bin Dawar al-Qattan, and this chain is sahih, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Abu al-Awwam Imran bin Dawar al-Qattan. Important point: Abu Qilabah is "Abd al-Malik bin Muhammad al-Raqashi", and Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani is "Sulayman bin Fayruz al-Kufi". Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (1330) and Ibn Hibban (5062) narrated it via Amr bin Asim with this same chain, and al-Tirmidhi declared it "gharib", saying we know it only from the hadith of Imran al-Qattan. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Majah (2312) narrated it via Muhammad bin Bilal, who added "Husayn bin Imran" between Imran and al-Shaybani; it has been said of Muhammad bin Bilal that he brings gharib narrations from Imran, so the route of Amr bin Asim is more correct. Note / Clarification: For the other hadiths of this chapter, see "Sunan Ibn Majah".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In our manuscripts (the name) has been distorted and written as "Dawud".
