أخبرني الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، فيما قرأتُه عليه من أصلِ كتابه، أخبرنا محمد بن أحمد بن الوليد الكَرَابيسي ببغداد، حدَّثنا إسحاق بن سعيد بن الأُرْكُون الدِّمشقي، حدَّثنا خُلَيد بن دَعْلَج، عن عطاء بن أبي رباح، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "أمان أهلِ الأرض من الاختلافِ المُوالاة لقريشٍ، قريشٌ أهلُ الله، أهلُ آلاءِ الله، فإذا خالفَتْها قبيلةٌ من العرب صاروا (1) حِزبَ إبليسَ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The means for the people of the earth to be safe from disagreement is love of and attachment to Quraysh. Quraysh are the people of Allah and the custodians of Allah's blessings. So whenever any tribe of the Arabs opposes them, it will join the party of Iblis."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): In manuscripts (Z) and (B) the word "sara" is written.
(2) إسناده تالف من أجل ابن الأُركون وشيخه خليد بن دَعلج كما سلف بيانه برقم (4766).
Grading: Its chain is "talif" (utterly ruined, i.e. unreliable).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason is "Ibn al-Urkun" and his teacher "Khulayd bin Da'laj", as explained in detail under hadith number (4766).
ووهَّاه الذهبي في "التخليص" وقال: في إسناده ضعيفان.
Grading: Al-Dhahabi declared it "wahin" (extremely weak) in "al-Talkhis" and said that in its chain there are two weak narrators.
