Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7133

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever intends the disgrace and humiliation of Quraysh, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will abase and disgrace him." In this narration, Yusuf bin Abi Aqil is without doubt Yusuf bin al-Hakam, and it is authentically established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that a son is not held responsible for his father's crime.
