Mustadrak al-Hakim 7130 — The trustworthiness of the Quraysh
حدَّثَناه محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدَّثنا الحسين بن الفضل البَجَلي ومحمد بن أحمد بن أنس القرشي، قالا: حدَّثنا عبد الله بن بكر السَّهْمي، حدَّثنا يزيد بن عَوَانة، عن محمد بن ذَكْوان؛ قال عبد الله بن بكر: ولا أحسبُ محمدًا إِلَّا قد حدَّثَنيه عن عمرو بن دينار، عن عبد الله بن عمر قال: بَيْنا نحن جُلوسٌ بفِناءِ رسول الله ﷺ، فذكرَ الحديثَ بتمامه نحوَه (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Once we were sitting in the courtyard of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the narrator mentioned the whole hadith in the same way, in full.
It has also been said about this chain that it is narrated through Muhammad bin Dhakwan from Amr bin Dinar, and he from Abdullah bin Umar.
