Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7110

It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri that Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) is the sister of Sayyiduna Ukkashah bin Mihsan. She was among the early Muslims in Makkah and emigrated to Madinah with her family. She lived on for a long time after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and narrated from him (peace and blessings be upon him).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In the manuscripts this name was distorted into "Hawthan". According to Ibn Makula's "al-Ikmal" (2/ 436), the correct name is "Hurthan" (with dammah on the ha', sukun on the ra', and with tha'); he also mentioned her brother 'Ukkashah bin Mihsan bin Hurthan.
