أخبرنا أحمد بن سلمان (5) الفقيه، حدثنا هلال بن العلاء الرقي، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا عبيد (6) الله بن عمرو، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل، قال: ونكح رسول الله ﷺ امرأة من كندة، وهي الشَّقيَّةُ التي سألت رسول الله ﷺ أن يردها إلى قومِها وأن يُفارقها، ففعل وردها مع رجل من الأنصار يقال له: أبو أسيد الساعدي (1).

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married a woman from the tribe of Kindah. She was the same "Shaqiyyah" (the wretched one) who asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to send her back to her family and to part from her. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) did so, and sent her back with the Ansari Companion Sayyiduna Abu Usayd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him).

Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator "Abd Allah bin 'Aqil" has "lin" (softness, i.e. some weakness) in him.
وأخرجه أبو زرعة في "تاريخه" ص 491 عن أبي توبة الربيع بن نافع، عن عبيد الله بن عمرو، به.
Reference / Source: Abu Zur'ah narrated it in his "Tarikh" (p. 491) from Abu Tawbah al-Rabi' bin Nafi', from 'Ubayd Allah bin 'Amr, with this chain.
