حدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق الصَّغاني، حدثنا محمد بن أسد الحَوْشي، حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، حدثنا الأوزاعي، قال: سألتُ الزُّهْري: أيُّ أزواج النَّبيّ ﷺ استعاذَتْ منه؟ [فقال: حدثني عُرْوة، عن عائشة: أن ابنة الجَوْن الكِلابيّة لما أدخلت على النَّبيّ ﷺ قالت: أعوذُ بالله منك، قال: "لقد عُذتِ بعظيم، الحَقِي بأهلِكِ] (3) " (4).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the daughter of al-Jawn, the Kilabi woman, was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), she said: "I seek refuge in Allah from you." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have certainly sought refuge with One of very great majesty; now go back to your family."

(3) ما بين المعقوفين سقط من النسخ الخطية، واستدركناه من "سنن البيهقي" 7/ 39، حيث رواه عن المصنف.
Note / Clarification: The text between the square brackets [ ] has dropped out of the manuscripts, and we restored it from "Sunan al-Bayhaqi" (7/ 39), since he narrated it from the author (al-Hakim).
(4) إسناده صحيح.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه البخاري (5254)، وابن ماجه (2050)، والنسائي (5580)، وابن حبان (4266) من طرق عن الوليد بن مسلم بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari (5254), Ibn Majah (2050), al-Nasa'i (5580) and Ibn Hibban (4266) recorded it through various routes from al-Walid bin Muslim with this same chain.
