(2). It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: One night the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out from my place, and I shut the door behind him. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) came back and wanted the door opened, I refused to open it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I adjure you to open the door for me." I said: Did you go to your other wives on the night of my turn? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I did not do so; rather, I felt an urgent need to urinate (so I went out)."

Grading: This chain is "da'if jiddan" (very weak); al-Waqidi is alone in narrating it, and there is well-known criticism of him. We could not identify Ibrahim, the freedman of Khuza'ah. Salih bin Muhammad (Ibn Za'idah al-Madani) is "da'if". Umm Dharrah — the freedwoman of 'A'ishah — was narrated from by three people; al-'Ijli declared her thiqah in "al-Thiqat", and Ibn Hibban mentioned her in "al-Thiqat". If she is not the one (in this narration), then we do not know her. Reference / Source: Ibn Sa'd narrated it in "al-Tabaqat" (10/ 133) from Muhammad bin 'Umar al-Waqidi with this same chain.
