Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 696

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: "I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delay any prayer to its last time, until he passed away."
Imam al-Hakim says that this narration, from the hadith of al-Waqidi, is a supporting narration (shahid), and it is not of the standard of this book.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): His name appears thus here, but elsewhere in this book it is given as 'Muhammad bin al-Faraj al-Azraq', and that is the well-known name in the books of narrator biographies.
Reference / Source: For his biography see "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'" 3/ 394.

Grading: Its chain is very weak (da'if jiddan).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Muhammad bin Umar, who is the well-known historian al-Waqidi, is 'matruk al-hadith'.
Reference / Source: Al-Daraqutni (982), and through him al-Bayhaqi in "Ma'rifat al-Sunan wa al-Athar" (2685), narrated it via Ishaq bin Abi Ishaq al-Saffar, from al-Waqidi (Muhammad bin Umar), with this same chain.
