حدّثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا محمد بن غالب، حدّثنا أبو حُذيفة، حدّثنا زُهير، عن إسحاقَ بن يحيى بن طلحة، عن الزُّهْري، عن مالك بن أوس، عن عمر: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ ضَرَبَ على جويريةَ الحِجابَ، وكان يُقسِمُ لها كما يقسِمُ لنسائِه (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prescribed the veil (hijab) for Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her), and he would allot her turn just as he allotted it to his other wives.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده ضعيف بمرّة من أجل إسحاق بن يحيى بن طلحة، فهو متروك الحديث. أبو حذيفة: هو موسى بن مسعود النهدي، وشيخه زهير: هو ابن محمد التميمي.
Grading: This chain is utterly "da'if" because of Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talhah, for he is "matruk al-hadith" (abandoned in hadith).
Important point: Abu Hudhayfah is Musa bin Mas'ud al-Nahdi, and his shaykh Zuhayr is Ibn Muhammad al-Tamimi.
وأخرجه ابن سعد في "الطبقات" 10/ 115، والطبري في "تاريخه" 11/ 609 من طريق الواقديّ، عن إسحاق بن يحيى بن طلحة، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Sa'd (10/ 115) and al-Tabari (11/ 609) narrated it by way of al-Waqidi from Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talhah with this same chain.
وأخرجه معضلًا عبد الرزاق (13234) عن معمر، وابن سعد 10/ 115 عن مالك بن أنس ومحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ذئب، ثلاثتهم عن الزهريّ قال: ضُرب على صفيةَ وجويريةَ الحجاب، وقَسَمَ لهما النبيّ ﷺ كما قسم لنسائه. ورجاله ثقات.
Reference / Source: 'Abd al-Razzaq (13234) from Ma'mar, and Ibn Sa'd (10/ 115) from Malik bin Anas and Muhammad bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Dhi'b, narrated it with a "mu'dal" chain; all three of them narrate from al-Zuhri, who said: The hijab was imposed on Safiyyah and Juwayriyah (they were given the status of Mothers of the Believers), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted (turns) to the two of them just as he allotted to his other wives.
Grading: Its narrators are thiqah.
