Mustadrak al-Hakim 6943 — Virtues of the Mother of the Believers
وحدثنا أبو عبد الله الأصبهانيّ، حدّثنا الحسن بن الجَهْم، حدّثنا الحسين بن الفَرَج، حدّثنا محمد بن عمر قال: وجويريةُ بنت الحارث بن أبي ضِرار بن حَبيب بن عائذ بن مالك بن جَذِيمة هو المُصطلق (1) من (2) خُزاعة، تزوَّجها مُسافِع بن صفوان، فقُتل يومَ المُرَيسيع.
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) that Sayyidah Juwayriyah bint al-Harith bin Abi Dirar bin Habib bin A'idh bin Malik bin Jadhimah (who are called Banu al-Mustaliq and are from the tribe of Khuza'ah) had been married to Musafi' bin Safwan, who was killed on the day of al-Muraysi'.

(1) في النسخ الخطية: بن المصطلق، وأثبتناه على الصواب من "طبقات ابن سعد" 10/ 113، و "تاريخ الطبري" 11/ 608، و "جمهرة أنساب العرب" ص 239، بينما في "ثقات ابن حبان" 3/ 66: جذمة بن سعد بن عمرو، وسعد هو المصطلق.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The manuscripts had "bin al-Mustaliq", which we corrected with the help of "Tabaqat Ibn Sa'd" (10/ 113), "Tarikh al-Tabari" (11/ 608) and "Jamharat Ansab al-'Arab" (p. 239). Whereas "Thiqat Ibn Hibban" (3/ 66) has "Judhaymah bin Sa'd bin 'Amr", and Sa'd is al-Mustaliq.
(2) في (م) و (ص): بن.
Note / Clarification: Manuscripts (M) and (S) have "bin".
