حدثني علي بن عيسى، حدثنا أحمد بن نَجْدة، حدثنا سعيد بن منصور، حدثنا فُلَيح بن سليمان، عن صالح بن عَجْلان ومحمد بن عبَّاد بن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن عبَّاد بن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن عائشة قالت: ما صلَّى رسول الله ﷺ على سُهيل ابن بيضاءَ إلَّا في المسجد (1).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for Suhayl bin Bayda' only in the mosque.

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل فليح بن سليمان وشيخيه. وأخرجه أحمد 41/ (25014)، وأبو داود (3189) عن سعيد بن منصور بهذا الإسناد. لكن انقلب عندهما محمد بن عباد إلى: محمد بن عبد الله بن عباد.
Grading: This hadith is sahih; this chain is "hasan" in the context of corroborations and supporting reports, on account of Fulayh bin Sulayman and his two shaykhs.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (41/ 25014) and Abu Dawud (3189) narrated it from Sa'id bin Mansur with this same chain, but in both of them the narrator's name "Muhammad bin 'Abbad" has been switched into "Muhammad bin 'Abd Allah bin 'Abbad" (an inversion of the name).
وأخرجه أحمد (24498)، وابن ماجه (1518) من طريق يونس بن محمد، وأحمد (24499) من طريق سريج بن النعمان كلاهما عن فليح بن سليمان، به. لكن لم يقرن يونس في روايته بفليح محمدًا.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (24498) and Ibn Majah (1518) narrated it via Yunus bin Muhammad, and Imam Ahmad (24499) via Surayj bin al-Nu'man, both from Fulayh bin Sulayman. However, Yunus did not mention Muhammad alongside Fulayh in his narration.
وأخرجه مسلم (973) (99) و (100)، والترمذي (1033)، والنسائي (2105) و (2106) من طريق عبد الواحد بن حمزة، عن عباد بن عبد الله بن الزبير، به. وقال الترمذي: حسن.
Reference / Source: Imam Muslim (973) (99) and (100), al-Tirmidhi (1033) and al-Nasa'i (2105 and 2106) narrated it with the chain of 'Abd al-Wahid bin Hamzah, from 'Abbad bin 'Abd Allah bin al-Zubayr. Imam al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan".
وأخرجه أحمد 42/ (25357) من طريق عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن الزبير، وأحمد 43/ (26245)، وابن حبان (3065) من طريق حمزة بن عبد الله بن الزبير، ومسلم (973) (101)، وأبو داود (3190)، وابن حبان (3066)، وأبو نعيم في "المعرفة" (3306)، والبيهقي 4/ 51 من طريق أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، ثلاثتهم عن عائشة. ووقع في رواية أبي سلمة: لقد صلَّى رسول الله ﷺ على ابني بيضاء في المسجد: سهيل وأخيه.

Details of the narration: In the narration of Abu Salamah the wording is: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the funeral prayer in the mosque over the two sons of Bayda': Suhayl and his brother."
