أخبرني أحمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا موسى بن زكريا، حدثنا شَبَاب، قال: جاريةُ بن قُدامة بن زهير بن حُصين بن رَزَاح بن أسعد بن بُجَير (2) بن ربيعة بن كعب، يكنى أبا أيوب (3) وأبا يزيد، له دارٌ بالبصرة في سِكَّة البُخاريَّة.
It is narrated from Khalifah bin Khayyat that: Jariyah bin Qudamah bin Zuhayr bin Husayn bin Razah bin As'ad bin Bujayr bin Rabi'ah bin Ka'b; his kunyah was Abu Ayyub and Abu Yazid, and he had a house in Basrah in Sikkat al-Bukhariyyah.

(2) في النسخ الخطية: رباح بن سعد بن يحيى، والمثبت من "طبقات خليفة" ص 44 و 179، وأشار محققه أنَّ الأصل في الموضع الأول كانت: رياح. قلنا: وجاءت على الصواب في الموضع الثاني.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts the name was written "Rabah bin Sa'd bin Yahya", but we have corrected it in light of Khalifah bin Khayyat's "al-Tabaqat" (p. 44, 179). According to its editor, the original reading in the first place was "Riyah", while in the second place it was found written correctly.
