أخبرَناه علي بن عيسى، حَدَّثَنَا إبراهيم بن أبي طالب، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن رافع، حَدَّثَنَا إسحاق بن منصور، حَدَّثَنَا إسرائيل، عن أبي يحيى، عن مجاهد، عن ابن عباس رَفَعَه إلى النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال: "عامَّةُ عذاب القبر من البول" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Generally, the punishment of the grave is because of urine (carelessness about it)."

(1) صحيح بما قبله، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لضعف أبي يحيى القتَّات.
Grading: This hadith is sahih by virtue of the preceding one, but this particular chain is da'if (weak) because of the weakness of Abu Yahya al-Qattat.
وأخرجه عبد بن حميد (642)، والبزار (4907)، والطحاوي في "مشكل الآثار" (5194)، والطبراني في "الكبير" (11120)، والدارقطني (466)، والبيهقي في "معرفة السنن والآثار" (4954)، "وإثبات عذاب القبر" (121) من طرق عن إسرائيل، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Abd bin Humayd (642), al-Bazzar (4907), al-Tahawi in "Mushkil al-Athar" (5194), al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (11120), al-Daraqutni (466), and al-Bayhaqi in "Ma'rifat al-Sunan wa al-Athar" (4954) and "Ithbat 'Adhab al-Qabr" (121), through various routes from Isra'il, with this same chain.
وأخرجه الطبراني أيضًا (11104) من طريق عبد الله بن خِراش، عن العوّام بن حوشب، عن مجاهد، به. وابن خراش ضعيف.
Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani (11104) narrated it via Abd Allah bin Khirash, from al-Awwam bin Hawshab, from Mujahid, with it.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Khirash, who is in this chain, is a weak narrator.
