Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6656

حدثني علي بن محمد بن عُقْبة الشَّيباني بالكوفة، حدثنا محمد بن إسماعيل، حدثنا عبد الله بن صالح، حدثني اللَّيث، حدثني عمران بن أبي أنس، عن حَنظَلة بن علي، عن خُفَاف بن إيماءَ الغِفاريِّ قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يَدعُو في صلاة الصُّبح: "اللهمَّ العَنْ بني لِحْيانَ ورِعْلًا وذكوانَ وعُصَيَّةَ، عَصَوا اللهَ ورسولَه، وغِفارٌ غَفَرَ الله لها، وأسلَمُ سَالَمَها الله" (1). ذكرُ أبي بَصْرة حُمَيل بن بَصْرة الغِفاري ﵁-
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khufaf bin Ima' al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating in the morning (Fajr) prayer: "O Allah, curse Banu Lihyan, Ri'l, Dhakwan and Usayyah, who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. And Ghifar, may Allah forgive them, and Aslam, may Allah keep them safe."

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل عبد الله بن صالح كاتب الليث بن سعد، وقد توبع. محمد بن إسماعيل: هو أبو إسماعيل السلمي الترمذي.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and this chain is "hasan" in corroborations because of 'Abd Allah bin Salih, the scribe of al-Layth bin Sa'd; moreover, he has been corroborated.
Important point: Muhammad bin Isma'il in the chain is "Abu Isma'il al-Sulami al-Tirmidhi".
وأخرجه مسلم (679) (307) و (2517) (186) من طريق عبد الله بن وهب، عن الليث بن سعد، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Muslim recorded it in his Sahih (679/ 307) and (2517/ 186) through the chain of 'Abd Allah bin Wahb from al-Layth bin Sa'd.
وأخرجه أحمد 27/ (16570) من طريق محمد بن إسحاق، عن عمران بن أبي أنس به.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad recorded it in 27/ (16570) through the chain of Muhammad bin Ishaq from 'Imran bin Abi Anas.
وأخرجه مسلم (679) (308) من طريق عبد الرحمن بن حرملة، عن حنظلة بن علي به.
Reference / Source: Imam Muslim (679/ 308) also recorded it through the chain of 'Abd al-Rahman bin Harmalah from Hanzalah bin 'Ali.
وأخرجه أحمد (16571)، ومسلم (679) (308)، وابن حبان (1984) من طريق الحارث ابن خفاف، عن أبيه خفاف بن إيماء.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (16571), Muslim (679/ 308) and Ibn Hibban (1984) recorded it through the chain of al-Harith bin Khufaf from his father Khufaf bin Ima'.
وفي الباب عن أبي ذر الغفاري سلف برقم (5547) آخر حديث طويل في قصة إسلامه.
