Ma'mar bin al-Muthanna states that: Khufaf bin Ima' bin Rahadah bin Khurbah bin Khufaf bin Harithah bin Ghifar was among the leading men of his people. His father Ima' bin Rahadah accepted Islam, and he was a chief of his people. And Sayyiduna Khufaf bin Ima' (may Allah be pleased with him) was present at Hudaybiyah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Explanation & Benefits

4/ 442. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Our manuscripts have "wa-kubara'ihim" (with a waw) instead of "min", whereas the correct reading is what we have entered in the text on the basis of "Ithaf al-Maharah" 4/ 442.
