It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah that: al-Mustawrid bin Shaddad bin Amr bin Hisl bin al-Ajabb bin Habib bin Amr bin Shayban bin Muharib bin Fihr bin Malik; he died in Egypt during the governorship (period of rule) of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In our manuscripts this word is written "al-Ahabb" (with the undotted ha'), but Ibn Durayd in "al-Ishtiqaq" (men of Banu Fihr) p. 105 recorded it with jim as "al-Ajabb" (meaning a camel whose hump has been cut off).
Reference / Source: Ibn Nasir al-Din al-Dimashqi gave the same clarification in "Tawdih al-Mushtabih" 1/ 157, as did Ibn Hajar in "Tabsir al-Muntabih" 1/ 7.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts the word here has been corrupted into "'Azib", whereas the correct word is "Muharib".
