حدثنا إبراهيم بن فِرَاسٍ الفقيه بمكة حَرَسَها الله تعالى، حدثنا بَكْر بن سهل الدِّمْياطي، حدثنا محمد بن المبارَك الصُّورِي، حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي شَيْبان، حدثني يزيد بن عَبِيدة بن [أبي] المُهاجر، حدثني يزيد مولى بُسْر بن أبي أَرْطاة، عن بُسْر بن أبي أَرطاة، عن النبي ﷺ أنه كان يَدعُو: "اللهمَّ أحسِنْ عاقِبتَنَا في الأمورِ كلِّها، وأجرْنا من خِزْي الدنيا وعذابِ الآخرة" (1). ذكرُ المُستَورِد بن شدَّاد الفِهْري ﵁-
Yazid, the freedman of Busr bin Abi Artah, narrates from Sayyiduna Busr bin Abi Artah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make this supplication: 'Allahumma ahsin aqibatana fil-umuri kulliha, wa ajirna min khizyid-dunya wa adhabil-akhirah' (O Allah, make the outcome of all our affairs good, and protect us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter).

(1) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة يزيد مولى بُسْر، وبكر بن سهل -وإن كان ضعيفًا- توبع.
Grading: Its chain is weak because Yazid, the freed slave (mawla) of Busr, is "majhul" (unknown).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Although Bakr bin Sahl is (in himself) weak, he has been corroborated at this point.
وأخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في "الزهد" (260)، والطبراني في "الكبير" (1198) من طريقين عن محمد بن المبارك الصُّوري، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Abi 'Asim recorded it in "al-Zuhd" (260) and al-Tabarani in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (1198) through two routes from Muhammad bin al-Mubarak al-Suri, with this same chain.
وأخرجه ابن عدي في "الكامل" 2/ 5، وأبو نعيم في "معرفة الصحابة" (1229) من طريق هشام بن عمار، عن إبراهيم بن أبي شيبان، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Adi recorded this narration in "al-Kamil" 2/ 5 and Abu Nu'aym in "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (1229) through the chain of Hisham bin 'Ammar from Ibrahim bin Abi Shayban.
وأخرجه ابن عدي 2/ 5 - 6، والطبراني (1197) من طريق عثمان بن علاق، عن يزيد بن عبيدة، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Adi 2/ 5-6 and al-Tabarani (1197) recorded it through the chain of 'Uthman bin 'Allaq from Yazid bin 'Ubaydah.
وأخرجه أحمد 29 / (17628)، وابن حبان (949) من طريق محمد بن أيوب بن ميسرة، عن أبيه، عن بسر.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad recorded it in 29 / (17628) and Ibn Hibban in (949) through the chain of Muhammad bin Ayyub bin Maysarah, from his father, from Busr.
