The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loving Aqil (may Allah be pleased with him) for two reasons

حدثنا علي بن حَمْشَاذَ العَدْل، حدثنا أبو المثنَّى معاذ بن المثنَّى العَنبَري، حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي سُوَيد، حدثنا عبد الواحد بن زياد، حدثنا طَلْحة بن يحيى، عن موسى بن طَلحة، أخبرني عَقِيل بن أبي طالب قال: جاءت قريشٌ إلى أبي طالب فقالوا: إنَّ ابنَ أخيك يُؤذينا في نادِينا وفي مَجلِسِنا، فانهَهُ عن أَذانا، فقال لي: يا عَقيلُ، ائتِ محمدًا، قال: فانطلقتُ إليه فأخرجتُه من حِفْش (1) - قال طلحة: بيتٌ صغيرٌ - فجاء في الظُّهر من شدّة الحرِّ، فجعل يطلب الفَيْءَ يمشي فيه من شدّة حرِّ الرَّمْضاء، فأتيناهم، فقال أبو طالب: إِنَّ بَنِي عمّك زعموا أنك تُؤْذيهم في نادِيهِم وفي مَجلسِهم، فانْتَهِ عن ذلك، فحَلَّقَ رسولُ الله ﷺ ببصره إلى السماء، فقال: "ما تَرَونَ هذه الشمسَ؟ " قالوا: نعم، قال: "ما أنا بأقدَرَ على أنْ أدَعَ ذلك منكم على أنْ تُشعِلوا منها شُعْلةً"، فقال أبو طالب: ما كَذَبَنا ابن أخي قطُّ، فارجِعُوا (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aqil bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that Quraysh came to Abu Talib and said: Your nephew harms us in our gatherings and assemblies; stop him from harming us. So he said to me: O Aqil! Bring Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). He says: I went to him and brought him out of a small house. He (peace and blessings be upon him) came at midday in intense heat, walking in search of shade because of the scorching heat of the burning ground. When we reached those people, Abu Talib said: Your cousins claim that you harm them in their gatherings and assemblies, so desist from that. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his gaze to the sky and said: "Do you see this sun?" They said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am no more able to give this up than you are able to kindle a flame of fire from this sun." Abu Talib said (to Quraysh): My nephew has never lied, so go back.

(1) تحرَّف في النسخ الخطية إلى: حلس، ولا يتوافق وتفسير طلحة له، والصواب ما أثبتنا كما في "دلائل النبوة" للبيهقي. والحِفْش: البيت الصغير. وعند الطبراني من كِبْس، وهو البيت الصغير أيضًا.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts the word here has been corrupted into "hils", which does not agree with the explanation given by Talhah. The correct word is the one we have recorded in the text, as found in Imam al-Bayhaqi's "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah".
Note / Clarification: "Al-hifsh" means a small house, while with Imam al-Tabarani the word is "kibs", which also means a small house.
(2) إسناده حسن من أجل طلحة بن يحيى: وهو ابن طلحة بن عبيد الله ابنُ أخي موسى بن طلحة.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Talhah bin Yahya.
Important point: He is Talhah bin Yahya bin Talhah bin 'Ubayd Allah, the nephew (brother's son) of Musa bin Talhah.
وأخرجه الطبراني في "الكبير" 17 / (511) عن معاذ بن المثنى، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Tabarani narrated this in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" 17 / (511) through Mu'adh bin al-Muthanna with this chain.
وهو عنده أيضًا من طريق محمد بن عيسى الطباع، عن عبد الواحد بن زياد، به.
Details of the narration: This same narration is also reported with Imam al-Tabarani by another route, namely Muhammad bin 'Isa al-Tabba' from 'Abd al-Wahid bin Ziyad.
وأخرجه البزار (2170)، وأبو يعلى (6804)، والطبراني 17/ (511)، والبيهقي في "الدلائل" 2/ 186 - 187 من طريق يونس بن بكير، عن طلحة بن يحيى، به.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Bazzar (2170), Abu Ya'la (6804), al-Tabarani 17/ (511) and al-Bayhaqi in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" 2/ 186-187 narrated this hadith by way of Yunus bin Bukayr from Talhah bin Yahya.
النادي: مكان اجتماع القوم.
Note / Clarification: "Al-nadi" means the place where people gather and sit together (that is, an assembly or club).
